Side effects are generally mild and temporary. You may experience mild redness, slight warmth, temporary swelling, and mild tenderness to the treated area. These effects usually resolve within a few hours and rarely interfere with daily activities.
To achieve the best results, avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning for one week before treatment, stop using retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating products 3–5 days before your appointment, stay well hydrated, and inform your provider if you’ve recently had Botox®, fillers, laser treatments, or facial surgery.
After treatment, we recommend wearing SPF 30+ sunscreen every day, keeping your skin moisturized and well hydrated, avoiding hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for 24 hours, avoiding excessive sun exposure for several days, and following any personalized aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.
