No. Most clients describe a pleasant deep warmth while the cool handpiece glides over the skin. The integrated 5 °C contact cooling keeps the surface comfortable throughout, so no numbing cream is needed.

ONDA is very well tolerated. You may notice mild redness, warmth or slight swelling in the treated area for a few hours, and occasionally some tenderness for a day or two. There are no needles, no wounds and no scarring.
Arrive with clean skin and no lotions or oils on the area. Stay well hydrated in the days before, avoid heavy sun exposure or tanning, and let us know about any medical conditions, implants or medications at your consultation.
There's no recovery time. We recommend drinking plenty of water, staying active and avoiding very hot baths, saunas or intense heat on the treated area for 24 hours. Light activity actually helps your body clear the treated fat.
